Сервисное подразделение НИС более 10 лет функционирует на территории Туркменистана, выполняя бурение и капитальный ремонт нефтяных и газовых скважин, а также другие специальные сервисные работы в нефтегазовой отрасли. В настоящее время на нефтяной платформе на Каспийском море работает самая большая буровая установка НИС - „Национал-1” для компании „Драгон оил”. Наряду с этим, завершена сейсморазведка других компаний, осуществляющих свою деятельность в Туркменистане (RWE, Itera) и ожидается объявление новых конкурсов и начало разведочного бурения.

Основным заказчиком работ по бурению в Туркменистане является компания Dragon Oil, контракт с которой продлен до мая 2013 года.

Krajem 2010. godine NIS i „Njeftegazinkor“, ćerka ruske kompanije „Zarubežnjeft“, osnovali su zajedničko preduzeće „Jadran-Naftagas“ koje se bavi istraživanjem i proizvodnjom ugljovodonika na teritoriji Republike Srpske. Već u drugoj polovini 2011. godini „Jadran-Naftagasu” je dodeljena koncesija za istraživanje i korišćenje ugljovodonika na celoj teritoriji Republike Srpske. Trenutno u toku je izvođenje seizmičkih 2D ispitivanja, a na osnovu dobijenih podataka biće locirana prva istražna bušotina. Istražno bušenje će se sprovoditi u 2012. i 2013. godini, a početak proizvodnje planiran je za 2014. godinu.

U 2011. godini NIS je postao vlasnik prvih maloprodajnih objekata u Republici Srpskoj – benzinske stanice „Trn-1“ i „Trn-2“ na izlazu iz Banjaluke, na autoputu prema Gradiški. U toku su pripreme za rekonstrukciju i modernizaciju ovih objekata, a njihovo otvaranje planira se za drugi kvartal 2012. godine. Otvoreno je i zavisno preduzeće NIS Petrol d.d. Laktaši koje se bavi razvojem maloprodajne mreže u Republici Srpskoj, a u pripremi su pregovori za kupovinu postojećih benzinskih stanica i izgradnju novih u BiH.

NIS is the first company from Serbia that established the representative office in Brussels.
Opening of the representative office in Brussels in 2011 is a part of the NIS business strategy developed with the aim to reach a leading position in oil and gas industry in the region, as well as apply European standards and new top business technologies. NIS representatives in Brussels closely monitor the appropriate EU directives and regulations and contribute to the European debate in the field of energy of energy, reduction of emission and environmental protection.

In the beginning of February 2012, the representative office of NIS in Brussels signed the Cooperation Protocol with the Representative Office of Vojvodina in Brussels. Among other things, the protocol foresees the following: coordinated approach to all relevant European institutions; promotion of the potentials of Vojvodina in the field of renewable energy sources; support to education programs in the field of energy management, energy efficiency, renewable energy sources; organization of conferences, round tables, workshops, study and scientific visits as well as other activities that will have importance both for Vojvodina and NIS.

În România, carereprezintă o parte de Basinul Panonic, comania NIS a început cu activităţilegeologice de cercetare de cinci blocuri, care sunt situate pe teren, în zonă cuproductivitate ridicată din vestul României. Trei din cinci blocuri se găsesc în imediată apropiere frontierei cu Serbia. În anul 2012 este planificată forarea unui număr de patru foraje de cercetare lablocuri, precum şi obţinerea primelor 2D şi 3D datelor seizmice. Primaproducţie se poate aşteptă déjà în anul 2013, iar pornirea producţieicomerciale este planificată în anul 2014-2015.

În România, compania NIS colaborează cu două compani: „East West Petroleum” din Canada (patru blocuri de cercetare la care participarea NIS-ului în etapalucrărilor geologice de cercetare va fi de 85 %) şi „Moesia oil and gas” dinIrlandă (un singur bloc, iar participarea NIS-ului va fi de 50 %)..

Magyarország cégünk kiemelt fontosságú földtani kutatási területe a Pannon-medencében. Partnereink a Falcon Oil and Gas, valamint a RAG olaj- és gázkutató cégek, akikkel két kutatási területen működünk együtt, a szerb-magyar határ közelében. Részesedésünk a bányászati joggal érintett területek 50%-a. Az első kutatás 2012. januárjában vette kezdetét a Kiskunhalas mellett elhelyezkedő RAG Pirtó 1 fúrásponton. A fúráspont tervezett mélysége 2976 m. Amennyiben a kutató fúrások sikerrel járnak, a termelés akár 2013-ban elkezdődhet.

Magyarországon két együttműköső partnerünk a Falcon Oil and Gas ( Canada), valamint a RAG (Ausztria) olaj- és gáz kutató cégek, akik egyben a tervezett kutatásaink kivitelezői is. A Falcon céggel 995 km² kutatási területen működünk együtt, a RAG esetében 2.255 km² területen. A tervezett cél 2012-ben a Falcon és az osztrák RAG esetében is három fúráspont kialakítása.

В 2011 година в страната е регистрирано зависимото предприятие „НИС Петрол ЕООД“. НИС вече е собственик на осем бензиностанции, а до края на 2014 година се планира покупка и строителство на около 80 бензиностанции. Първите обекти на НИС за продажби на дребно в България ще бъдат пуснати в експлоатация през второто тримесечие на 2012 година.

Neste país Africano, a NIS opera desde o ano de 1980, e em 1985. em Angola começou na exploração de petróleo.
Desde o momento da criação até o final do ano de 2010. a NIS produziu cerca de quatro milhões de toneladas de petróleo nos sites de concessão em Angola.
Neste país, a NIS está atualmente trabalhando em dois blocos de produção, em seis poços e um bloco exploratório, a parte da empresa no consórcio sobre os blocos é de quatro por cento. O principal operador dos blocos é a empresa "SONANGOL".

NIS services are present in the market for more than ten years. Projects which involve the engagement of drilling equipment, well workovers, geological supervision over drilling operations, as well as maintenance of oil exploration and production equipment of other companies have been implemented over the past decade. At this moment, our biggest drilling rig Nacional-1 is engaged for the company Dragon Oil. Also, seismic surveys of other companies present in Turkmenistan (RWE, Itera) are completed. Therefore, an invitation to tender and start of exploration drilling activities are expected.

In Turkmenistan, NIS Oilfield Services work for the company Dragon Oil at the oil platform in the Caspian Sea. The contract is extended until May 2013 and an invitation to tender for further drilling activities is expected after the expiry of this contract.

In Romania which geologically belongs to the Pannonian Basin, NIS started geological explorations on five onshore exploration blocks in a highly productive region of western Romania. Three of five blocks have a significant logistical advantage because they are situated in the close vicinity of the Serbian border. In 2012, four exploration wells are planned for drilling, as well as acquisition of initial 2D and 3D seismic data. According to preliminary estimates, first production may be expected already in 2013, while the start of commercial production is planned for the period of 2014-2015.

NIS cooperates with two companies in Romania – the Canadian „East West Petroleum” (four exploration blocks, where the NIS share for geological exploration operations will be 85%) and the Irish „Moesia oil and gas” (one block, where NIS share will be 50).

One of the countries prioritized for implementation of geological and exploration operations in the Pannonian Basin is Hungary.
NIS partners in Hungary are Falcon Oil and Gas and RAG. NIS will cooperate with them on two exploration blocks near the Serbian border and get 50% of production stake of the entire area of licensed blocks. In January 2012 NIS and RAG have started drilling the first exploration well („RAG Pirto-1“) on the block Kishkunhalas in south Hungary. Planned depth of drilling is 2.976 m, and if exploration works turn out as successful, the production might start as early as in 2013.

In Hungary NIS cooperates with Falcon Oil and Gas (Canada) and RAG (Austria), which are also the operators on the projects. The block area where NIS will operate with company Falcon includes about 995 km², while the area planned for exploration operations together with the company RAG includes 2.255 km². Drilling of three exploration wells is planned for 2012 as part of the joint project with the company Falcon, including three other wells –on the project with the Austrian partner RAG.

Bulgaria is one of the priority markets for the development of the NIS retail network in the region, because it offers the best synergy effect and favourable market entry conditions.
In mid-September 2011, the subsidiary NIS Petrol EOOD was registered in this country. Retail network development is the main priority at this moment. NIS has already become the owner of eight petrol stations in this country, and by the end of 2014 there are plans for acquisition and construction of 80 petrol stations. The first retail facilities of NIS in Bulgaria will start operation in Q2 of 2012.

At the end of 2010, NIS and Neftegazinkor, a subsidiary of the Russian Zarubezhneft, set up the joint company Jadran-Naftagas which is engaged in exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the Republic of Srpska. At the end of 2011, Jadran-Naftagas was awarded the concession to explore and use hydrocarbons in the entire Republika Srpska. Currently, implementation of seismic 2D investigations is in progress. The received data will be used for identification of the first exploration well in Republic of Srpska. Exploration drilling will be performed in 2012 and 2013, and the beginning of production is planned for 2014.

In 2011 NIS became the owner of first retail facilities in the Republic of Srpska – petrol stations Trn-1 and Trn-2 at the outskirts of the city of Banja Luka, on the highway to Gradiška. Preparations for the reconstruction and modernisation of these facilities is currently in progress, while the opening is planned for the Q2 of 2012. The subsidiary NIS Petrol d.d. Laktaši is opened and will deal with the development of the retail network in the Republic of Srpska. Negotiations for the purchase of existing and construction of new petrol stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina are being planned.

NIS has been operating in this African country since 1980. In 1985, NIS started to exploit oil in Angola.
From its establishment till the end of 2010, NIS has produced about 4 million tons of crude oil at the concession sites in Angola.
In this country, NIS currently operates in two production blocks, six wells and one exploration block. The company share in the consortium is four per cent. The main operator of blocks is the company Sonangol.
