NIS Facilitates Zrenjanin Sensor Room Operation

NIS Company facilitated a set-up of a Sensor Room in the “9th May” Elementary and Secondary School in the town of Zrenjanin This project has been devised to bring about a speedy integration into the social life of children and youth with impeded development and lack of sensory integration in a supportive environment. The Room is fitted with various elements bound to stimulate the senses of hearing, vision, touch and smell. Other than that, the user-friendly Room’s professional staff facilitates a safe exploration of sensory skills, and alleviates stress and tension. Other than children form the “9th May” School, the Sensor Room will be at the disposal of children, who benefit from the Service support in regular kindergartens and schools in the town of Zrenjanin. The opening ceremony was attended by Zrenjanin’s mayor, Mr. Čedomir Janjić, the NIS Company representatives and the management and staff of the “9th May” School. The Sensor Room in Zrenjanin is yet another project within NIS’ “Common Cause – Community” programme, which has been run by the Company for eight consecutive years seeking to support local communities’ projects that facilitate the operation of numerous institutions and streamline the functioning of institutions in culture, education and sports.
