Wanting to support the development of our youngest citizens, NIS, as part of its largest social
responsibility program “Common Cause Community”, this year announced a competition for
financing projects of public importance whose main focus is supporting children. This year, the
company will invest RSD 144.5 million to support public health, preschool and school institutions,
as well as social welfare, culture and sports institutions whose beneficiaries are children. In this
way, NIS continues to support projects that contribute in the long term to creating a higher quality
and more stimulating environment for the lives of current and future generations.
The program is implemented in partnership with 13 cities and municipalities in Serbia: Belgrade,
Novi Sad, Požarevac, Niš, Čačak, Zrenjanin, Pancevo, Kikinda, Kanjiža, Novi Bečej, Srbobran, Žitište
and Veliko Gradište. Applications for the competition are open from June 18 and will last until
September 12, 2025, and all information about the conditions and propositions of the competition
is available on the website of NIS Company. The Project Selection Committee decides on the
projects to be supported, and the results of the competition will be announced in October of the
current year.
NIS has been implementing the “Common Cause Community” social responsibility program for the
17th year in a row, with the aim of contributing to the empowerment and development of the
