The company NIS has submitted to the U.S. Department of the Treasury a new request for the issuance of a special licence that would allow the company to continue conducting its operational activities without disruption even after the expiry of the current operating licence, that is, after 30 October 2026.
The request emphasises the importance of NIS in ensuring continuity of supply to the domestic market, as well as the fact that the regular operation of the Pančevo Oil Refinery is of key importance for preserving the energy stability of the Republic of Serbia.
NIS wishes to thank all domestic and international institutions that support the efforts to enable the company to operate without disruption.
