On August 26, NIS received a new specific license from the U.S. Department of the Treasury allowing the company to continue its business without interruption until September 26, 2025.
This new license allows NIS to carry out the following activities:
NIS thanks all other domestic and foreign institutions that supported its petition to the US Department of the Treasury.
This is the sixth consecutive specific license NIS has received from by the Office of Foreign Assets Control under the US Department of the Treasury deferring the full implementation of sanctions towards the company. Earlier, on March 14, the company submitted a petition to be removed from the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, which, however, is a complex process. NIS is ready to keep up the consistent cooperation with the US Department of the Treasury regarding the submitted petition for its removal from the Specially Designated Nationals list. NIS shall inform the public about any new circumstances that may affect its operations in a timely manner.
