Biljan Elezović, Director of the Central Banat Plant, emphasized that social responsibility is one of the priorities of NIS’ operations. “The City of Zrenjanin is one of our most important partners. Not only in terms of business, but also in the implementation of projects that we realize for the benefit of our fellow citizens. This year, we have allocated funds totalling RSD 12.5 million to the Health Centre in Zrenjanin for the procurement of much-needed medical equipment and vehicles for the transportation of patients. In this way, NIS hopes to contribute to children – as the future of our country – having the highest quality conditions for treatment.” Elezović said.
Čedomir Janjić, Mayor of Zrenjanin, emphasized the importance of cooperation with NIS and of investing in the community. “I would like to thank NIS for its conscientiousness in terms of social responsibility. The City of Zrenjanin is one of 13 cities that has established such a cooperation with NIS. Once again this year, we are cooperating through the Community Together programme, within which we have already implemented numerous projects, primarily in the fields of sports, recreation and education, and now we are broadening the scope to also include health” said Janjić.
Gordana Đurić, Director of the “Dr. Boško Vrebalov” Health Centre emphasized the importance of this donation to the healthcare institution.
“I would like to thank NIS for recognizing the need for improvement of primary care. The donation to the “Dr. Boško Vrebalov” Health Centre is part of NIS’ support to 20 healthcare institutions across Serbia through the Community Together programme for this year.
