On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its founding, the Crvena Zvezda Sports Society gave awards to the best athletes and clubs of the past year at a ceremony held at the Rajko Mitic Stadium.
04.03.2020On this occasion, a special award “Business Partner of the Year” in 2019 was bestowed onto “Gasprom Neft”, the general sponsor of the “Crvena Zvezda” football club.
On behalf of Gazprom Neft, the award was received by Vadim Smirnov, Deputy CEO and Director of NIS’s Government Relations and Corporate Communications Function, who thanked the “Crvena Zvezda” management for the prestigious award.
Since 2010, Gazprom Neft has been supporting the Crvena Zvezda football club and helping to educate the young talents of this Serbian club. The sponsorship that the company provides to the “red and white” players is also the largest single investment in domestic sports. Last December, Gazprom Neft extended a cooperation agreement with the Crvena Zvezda football club, and under that agreement, the company remains the general sponsor of Crvena Zvezda until mid-2022.
