The NIS company would like to warn all of a new fraud that has appeared on social networks and websites related to the alleged sale of season tickets for the matches of the Partizan Basketball Club. In this scam, unknown persons create fake accounts on social networks and websites, using the company name and logo and presenting themselves as NIS employees, offering users to buy tickets at “favourable” prices.
On this occasion, the company states that it is not behind these activities and reminds that it publishes all activations exclusively on its official profiles on social networks: Facebook: @NIS a.d. Novi Sad @Sa nama na putu; Instagram: @kompanija_nis @sanamanaputu @gdrivesrbija; as well as on its official websites – www.nis.rs; www.nisgazprom.rs; www.nisotec.rs.
Users should be especially careful when it comes to messages in which they are asked to send personal information, such as bank accounts, passwords or other personal information. If there is a suspicion that you are threatened in any way, that the data will be misused, depending on the type of fraudulent activity, it is important to change the passwords on your accounts, as well as to contact the competent office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and/or the Department for High-Tech Crime within the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade. The NIS Company is actively working on the prevention and prevention of misuse of the company’s name and its brands on the Internet. Thus, in the previous period, NIS filed numerous criminal charges against unknown persons for unauthorized use of a business name, damage to the company’s reputation, and unauthorized organization of games of chance.
