Fans of car racing had a chance to take part and compete in the new NIS Petrol initiative "Let’s go to Brno with Dušan" in the city square in Novi Sad. Visitors drove a WTCC race 07 simulator, which is often used by professional racers in trainings. The winner of the race will have the opportunity to travel to Brno on 6 October to the final race of the European Touring Car Cup and access the NIS Petrol racing team pit. This initiative was attended by the multiple champion Dušan Borković, Novi Sad City Councillor for Sport and Youth, Predrag Svilar, and Nadezhda Korobeinikova, NIS Petrol Retail Director. In his speech, Dušan Borković thanked NIS who have been sponsoring him for three consecutive years, as well as the City of Novi Sad, which made this manifestation possible. Novi Sad City Councillor for Sport and Youth, Predrag Svilar, emphasised that good cooperation between the City of Novi Sad and NIS Company, one of the largest companies in our country, sets a good example how to support our champions and he invited all socially responsible companies to support our athletes so that they can achieve the best possible results. Nadezhda Korobeinikova pointed out that supporting the most successful Serbian and European car racer comes naturally considering that the best rely on the likes of themselves. "Cooperation with Borković is a comfirmation of NIS’s determination to promote professional sport and healthy lifestyle. At the same time, this in an opportunity to promote our famous tricolour NIS Petrol brand which encompasses a wide network of petrol stations in Serbia and the region", said Korobeinikova. In addition to Novi Sad, "Let’s go to Brno with Dušan" NIS Petrol initiative will also take place in Kragujevac, Čačak, Beograd and Pančevo.
