At the Faculty of Technology in Novi Sad was opened laboratory for Oil and Petrochemical Engineering

The laboratory, which is equipped with modern teaching equipment is intended for the improvement of laboratory exercises on subjects Technology of oil refining and Oil products The laboratory, which is equipped with modern teaching equipment is intended for the improvement of laboratory exercises on subjects Technology of oil refining and Oil products, and should allow students to improve their knowledge in this field. The equipment is intended for education of Oil and petrochemical engineering students at the Faculty of Technology in Novi Sad Adaptation of the classroom is a part of the cooperation between the NIS and the Faculty of Technology that the Company is implementing within the program “Energy of Knowledge”. This program involves partnerships with educational institutions in the country dedicated to training young professionals and highly qualified staff to work in the company. After opening of the laboratory in the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, was held “NIS Day” where students had an opportunity to listen to lectures of NIS employed experts and engineers from different fields of oil and gas refining. “The strategic concept of the NIS is investment in education and improving conditions for the work of educational institutions in our country. NIS cooperates with more than 25 universities in the country and abroad. Opening of such a modern laboratory for education of young professionals in the field of oil and petrochemical engineering will ensure that the Faculty of Technology in Novi Sad becomes a seed plot of talent and top experts in this field”, said Andrej Shibanov, Deputy CEO of NIS and Manager of Organizational Affairs Function. Lecture on the topic “Oil Refinery and the role of MHC / DHT in oil refining” was held by Ivan Nikolic, chief engineer of GPII The opening ceremony in laboratory for oil and petrochemical engineering was attended by representatives of NIS, the leadership of the Faculty of Technology in Novi Sad, many professors and students. After opening of the laboratory in the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, was held “NIS Day” where students had an opportunity to listen to lectures of NIS employed experts and engineers from different fields of oil and gas refining. Lecture on “Amine plant” was held by Nebojsa Dragojevic, engineer Lecture on “Oil and petrochemical engineer in oil production” was given by Slobodan Gojkovic, senior engineer for the oil and gas facilities, and a lecture on “Amine plant” held Nebojsa Dragojevic, engineer. Also was held a lecture on the topic “Oil Refinery and the role of MHC / DHT in oil refining” by Ivan Nikolic, chief engineer of GPII. Lecture on “Oil and petrochemical engineer in oil production” was given by Slobodan Gojkovic, senior engineer for the oil and gas facilities Lecture “NIS and the Faculty of Technology – partners in the corporate program Energy of Knowledge” was held by Snezana Lakicevic, Ph.D, Advisor of Manager of Organizational Affairs Function for cooperation with universities, educational and scientific institutions of NIS and Dragan Govedarica, Ph.D, associate professor of the Department of oil and petrochemical engineering So far NIS has signed 46 agreements on cooperation with national and international scientific and educational institutions. For contributions towards improving the conditions of education in Serbia NIS was the first company that received the prestigious “St. Sava Award" given by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
