Audio Library for Disabled Children Opens with the Support of NIS

October 1, 2014

The Audio Library contains recorded works that students of this elementary and secondary school will be able to listen to both at school and at home. It is designed such that persons suffering from cerebral palsy or polio, as well as blind and visually impaired persons, dyslexic persons, paraplegics, and quadriplegics are able to use it. Incorporating this audio content in the lives of people with disabilities opens up new prospects for them and enables their easier integration in the community. The project “Audio Library – A New Aid For Us” has been implemented by the Citizen Association “The Sun” with the support of NIS. The project was selected as part of the open competition “Together for the Community”, which provides support for projects in the area of sports, culture, the environment, science, and humanitarian activities in the cities and municipalities where NIS conducts business.
