Coface TOP 500: NIS among the most successful companies in Central and Eastern Europe

NIS among the most successful companies in Central and Eastern Europe on the list of the French credit Insurance group Coface

With its turnover of 1.6 billion euros in the last year, NIS took 78th position on the list and the first among companies from our country.

Based on this, the list features seven companies operating in Serbia who are ranked below NIS. These are: Elektroprivreda Serbia, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles of Serbia, Mercator, Telekom Serbia, Srbijagas, Delhaize and Jugorosgas.

The analysis conducted by the Coface Group shows that the companies listed in 2015 increased their turnover by 4.2 per cent and had a profit growth of about 73 percent. The largest 500 companies in the last year employed about 5 percent of the total labor force in Central and Eastern Europe, according to the analysis.

Coface is one of the largest companies in the world in the credit insurance field and every year it traditionally publishes the lists of most successful companies.
