CEO of NIS ” Kiril Kravchenko and Mayor of city Niš, Nenad Simonovic signed an Agreement on Socio-Economic Cooperation, valued at RSD10 million and Memorandum on Cooperation in the field of energy industry. NIS will support the projects that city finds significant, one half will be at city’s disposal while other half will be intended for projects that will be chosen through public invitation. Managing Director in NIS, Kirill Kravchenko stated that the goal of cooperation in the field of energy industry is complete implementation of the policy of sustainable development and new investments in the field of utilization of traditional and renewable energy sources. Agreement represents a part of NIS’s corporative program called “Cooperation for the purpose of development” which goal is to improve everyday life in the local community, develop sports, science and culture, improvement of infrastructure, as well as inflow of investments.
