Fourth Bolshoi Festival Held with Gazprom Neft’s Support

Concert of famous serbian violinist Nemanja Radulović during the festival From 15 through 17 July audience in Mećavnik enjoyed the technical mastery of stars of classical music. The Festival opened with a concert from the “Bolshoi” symphony orchestra, conducted by Srboljub Dinić, director of the Mexico City Opera followed by performance of a renowned tenor Zoran Todorović. The Festival opened with a concert from the “Bolshoi” symphony orchestra The second day of the Festival included a concert with performances from People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and famous pianist Yuri Rozum, as well as young Armenian star and winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan. The final day of the Festival featured a concert by violinist Nemanja Radulović together with the Double Sens ensemble. Young Armenian star and winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan Sixty five talented young musicians from Serbia, Republic of Srpska and the Russian Federation took part in the Festival Competition before a jury made up of pianist Yuri Rozum, Dean of the Belgrade Faculty of Musical Arts, Lilian Nestorovska, and Professor of the Music Academy of East Sarajevo, Zoran Komadina. Gold Matryoshka in the 13-17-year-old age group was won by Aleksandra Latinović from the Music School Petar Stojanovic in Ub. Silver Matryoshka in the 13-17-year-old age group was won by Galina Nikolin from the Music School Josif SLavenski from Belgrade. Bronze Matryoshka in the 13-17-year-old age group was won by Ekaterina Maslova from Noyabrsk. Young musicians, winners of the competition part of the festival In the 18-25-year-old age group the Gold, Silver and Bronze Matryoshkas were respectively won by Milosav Boićin, a student at the Belgrade State Institute for Arts and Culture; Jana Momirović, a student at the Prainer Conservatory, Vienna; and Minja Marčetić, a student at the Belgrade Faculty of Musical Arts. A new feature in this year’s Festival consisted of unique master classes held by Nemanja Radulović, Zoran Todorović, Narek Hakhnazaryan, and Yuri Rozum. People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and famous pianist Yuri Rozum TV channels Russia24 and Russia Today, Snob magazine, Internet portal Lenta.ru and Serbian daily newspaper Politika all acted as media partners of the fourth festival.
