In the words of Anton Fedorov, Director of Finance, Economics, Planning, and Accounting, in the first nine moths of 2015 NIS made the profit of 10.9 billion dinars owing to, above all else, an increase in operational efficiency and the reduction of costs. The company has maintained the profitability of its business operations, and continues investing, despite the complex macroeconomic conditions and low crude oil prices in the global market, Fedorov pointed out. After presenting the financial results and an open dialogue betwen NIS representatives and the investment public, the participants were informed about upcoming capital investments of NIS – the Bottom of the Barrel project with the delayed coking technology at the Pančevo Refinery, as well as the CHP Plant. These investments were presented by Vladimir Gagić, Director of Refining, Alexey Belov, Director of Energy, and Ilya Kutyaev, Director of the Department of Development in Energy. Continuing the practice of transparent business operations and introducing new corporate governance standards in Serbia, NIS organized a visit to the GAZPROM petrol station “Dunav“ for the representatives of the investment public, where this premium brand was presented.
