NIS ran a free children’s tennis school in Block 19а in Novi Beograd in cooperation with the Serbian Tennis Federation More than 250 children from the elementary schools “Jovan Dučić” and “Laza Kostić” had an opportunity to play mini tennis in an easy, interesting and playful way, while having fun together and using equipment tailored to their age. In addition to sports workshops and competitions, the children could also attend numerous cultural and arts features and the accompanying programme. NIS and the Federation have joined this global event with the open tennis school they have been organising across Serbia for six years running. As a long-standing general sponsor of the Tennis Federation, NIS has thus taken an active role in promoting healthy lifestyle, supporting children’s sports and youth development and fostering talents, in line with its slogan “Future at Work”. The Beautiful Park of Mine festival was organised by the civic association called “Beautiful City of Mine”.
