Gazprom Neft and NIS Renovate 10 Classrooms in Serbia with Novak Đoković Foundation

The project of classroom renovation is a significant contribution to the education of the young people A modern physics laboratory was opened in a ceremony today at the Smederevska Palanka Grammar School. The Smederevska Palanka Grammar School is one of the schools in the areas affected by last year’s floods. In a joint action of Gazprom Neft, NIS, and the foundation of the world’s best tennis player, schools in the municipalities of Obrenovac, Svilajnac, Lazarevac, Krupanj, Ub, Petrovac na Mlavi, and the towns of Valjevo, Šabac, and Paraćin have already been provided with new physics and chemistry classrooms. Together with the Novak Đoković Foundation, Gazprom Neft and NIS have in the past three months renovated and refurbished 10 physics and chemistry classrooms in elementary and secondary schools throughout Serbia Gazprom Neft, NIS, and the two companies’ employees have collected 30 million dinars in solidarity with, and support for, the population from the flood-affected areas. The collected funds are earmarked for the reconstruction of school laboratories.
