Gazprom Neft and NIS team up with Novak Djokovic Foundation to refurbish physics classroom in Šabac The physics classroom in the Laza Lazarević School in Šabac is the seventh out of ten classrooms which are part of a joint project carried out by the two companies and the Foundation established by the world tennis champion. This project is aimed at refurbishing and equipping classrooms in Serbian schools located in the areas affected by last year's floods. In an effort to help the population affected by the May 2014 floods, Gazprom Neft, NIS and their employees have raised 30 million dinars. Given that the social responsibility programmes of both companies are vastly committed to youth support, it was decided to invest the funds in refurbishing physics and chemistry classrooms. Laza Lazarević Primary School in Šabac has a new physics classroom New, cutting-edge classrooms have so far been opened in schools in Obrenovac, Petrovac na Mlavi, Ub, Lazarevac, Svilajnac, Paraćin and Šabac, with schools in Valjevo, Krupanj and Smederevska Palanka planned for the rest of this year.
