Greening of Pancevo Oil Rafinery Lectures and practical activities held in the Pančevo Oil Refinery as part of this campaign were aimed at highlighting the significance of green areas in industrial zones and plants. On completion of the educational programme, which was dedicated to environmental projects and activities and also the topics of the ecological role of green areas around industrial zones, evergreens (thujas) were planted. A total of 40 trees were planted within the Refinery. Responsibility to the immediate surroundings, consideration for a healthier environment, including raising environmental awareness of both individuals and the entire community, are among the strategic goals NIS pursues in its business operations.
