In November starts new facility

Modernized Refinery Pancevo, in which will be for the first time in Serbia, producing Euro quality products, will be put into operation in November, said CEO of NIS Kiril Kravchenko by occasion of the visit of the Minister for Energy, Development and the Environment Zoran Mihajlovic to Oil Refinery Pancevo. Kravchenko said that within modernization, it is applied latest world technologies that will reduce emissions of harmful gases in Pancevo and that after finished modernization emissions harmful gases will be lower by 10 percent compared to the allowable limit. Minister Mihajlovic said that Serbia has long waited to begin production of euro five quality fuel, expecting that the refinery will be continued and emphasized the importance of such an investment. CEO of NIS and the Minister of Energy visited the storage tanks of liquefied petroleum gas which construction has been completed, and that will allow simultaneous storing at least 6,000 meters of cubic gas.
