Alexander Dybal, member of the Board of Directors at Gazprom Neft gave an interview to the Vecernje novosti daily, on the topic of Gazprom Neft’s donation to the Church of Saint Sava. Dybal emphasizes that the amount of EUR4 million, which this company set aside for completion of works in the Church, will be intended for technical works on mosaic of the cupola, spreading across 1.230 square metres. As he further claims, they intend to leave the supervision of quality and compatibility of executed works with the artistic solution elected to its subsidiary NIS, which will gather qualified experts in the field of decorative mosaic. NIS CEO Kirill Kravchenko will manage an entire process. As Dybal said in his interview with the Novosti daily, Serbs and Russians have strong spiritual connections that have been lasting for centuries, thus he hopes that the Church of Saint Sava will become the biggest monument of Serbian-Russian friendship.
