Kikinda Science Park Opens with NIS Support

The park is situated in the Kikinda Vocational Training Centre and features tri-dimensional objects that serve as teaching aids, such as a Newton's Cradle, weather stations, a solar panel for electricity generation, a gyroscope and an electricity generator. Agenda for Science Park opening ceremony With the construction of the Park, teachers can now make science classes more interesting and creative, while students can learn about natural phenomena through hands-on activities and demonstration. This learning space is also open to all interested citizens, as an opportunity to acquire new knowledge through play. Together for the Community is a public contest through which NIS provides support to communities in which it conducts business. Projects selected through open competition assist local development and facilitate and improve the work of numerous institutions and cultural, educational and sports centres.
