Kirill Kravchenko, NIS CEO, has been named the most influential foreign citizen in Serbia in 2011, according to the survey which traditionallly, every year is conducted by the daily paper Blic. For the third consequtive time Kirill Kravchenko is on the list of the most influential foreigners in Serbia.
The decision made by the jury of Blic paper was based on the following criteria: financial and political influence, public recognizabilitiy, personal authority, authority of the institution they represent, peresonal charisma and the effectivness of goal implementation.
In addition to personal strength and business excellence, Kravchenko, as the top manager of NIS, has also been selected owing to the excellent business results of the Company, which have been improved year after year. For the first nine months of 2011 NIS gained profit which is for 71 percent higher than the profit for the same period in 2010. At the same time the total profit expected is tw times higher. In addition to overall modernization and significant investments, NIS has improved the operation and reporting in the area of sustainable development according to European standards, started expanding its business activities in the region and transformation from an oil gas company into an energy company. Thus the management, led by Kravchenko, has reaffirmed its committment to make NIS become a regional leader in this area.
