Mr. Kirill Kravchenko, Chief Executive Officer of NIS, pointed out that the Company had made an impressive progress in the retail network modernization. "This year only, we plan to invest over one billion dinar in the reconstruction of our petrol stations in Belgrade. Simultaneously, in spite of the crisis in the oil and gas sector, we continue investing in the socially responsible business. Hence, it is of special importance to me that, today, we are opening not only a new modernized petrol station, but also the neighboring park. My thanks to the mayor for his generous support to the development of our business, and I hope, together, we will make even better results in the future" - said the Chief Executive Officer of NIS. The Mayor of Belgrade, Mr Sinisa Mali, congratulated NIS employees and management for the achieved results. "NIS has surpassed the promise it gave to the City of Belgrade in September last year, that it would open 6 new retail facilities in the capital - 10 new petrol stations will be opened in Belgrade in the course of the current year, including this one at Autokomanda. The newly reconstructed petrol station, along with this park, gives a completely new image to this part of the city, and we hope this is just the first step in promoting our cooperation. We are also grateful to NIS for its understanding and the donation it provided for the reconstruction of the neighboring park, and we hope to keep working together to solve other issues as well", said the Mayor of Belgrade. "As a resident of this part of the city, I wish to extend my thanks to the people and the Mayor of Belgrade and NIS for their contribution to giving Autokomanda a more appealing appearance . I wish them luck and success in their joint endeavors" - said Alexander Chepurin, ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia. The new petrol station at Autokomanda is a reconstructed retail store in the location of the NIS Petrol station. The facility offers a wide range of Euro 5 petroleum products produced at the Pancevo Oil Refinery, as well as high-quality oils and lubricants. In addition to premium-quality fuel, an extensive portfolio of complementary products are also available to consumers. NIS and the City of Belgrade have a long-lasting cooperation, whereby landscaping of the park at Autokomanda is just one in a row of their joint projects. Reconstruction of the park is aimed at improving the quality of life of the local communities where NIS operates, as an integral part of the corporate strategy being implemented under the slogan "The future at Work.
