NIS supported campaign “Sport against violence” at Vuk Karadžić Elementary School in Čačak This was an educational, healthy and entertaining opportunity for around 500 first- to fourth-grade pupils to learn some basic moves in the “white sport” and all of them received special certificates in acknowledgement of their support and fair play. As a years-long general sponsor of the Serbian Tennis Federation (“TSS”) under the slogan “Future at Work” and corporate social responsibility strategy, NIS hereby took an active role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and tapping young talents. The Sports against Violence campaign is carried out as a collaboration of NIS, Serbian Tennis Federation (“TSS”), Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and Ministry of Youth and Sports. To date, the campaign has attracted more than 24,000 children from over 50 schools and cities across Serbia. This school year's tour around cities of our “tennis caravan” will end with a visit to Srbobran. New meetings with kids around Serbia are scheduled for the very start of the school year of 2016/2017.
