NIS traditionally supports Pančevo Jazz Festival through its „Common Cause - Community“ programme This year the list of festival participants includes globally and locally famous jazz musicians like John Skoffield, jazz pianist and composer Mayra Melford, Italy’s trumpet legend Enrique Rava and many others. The local musicians, among others, are represented by the Sound sculptures group, a band led by a renowned jazz pianist and a member of Big Band of Serbia’s Radio and Television Ivan Aleksiјеvić, as well as Lazar Тоšić Quartet and Marko Đоrđеvić. NIS traditionally supports this music festival seeking to facilitate development and promotion of cultural values and development of the town of Pančevo pursuant to its corporate motto “Future at Work“. The “Common Cause - Community” Programme has been devised to improve life standard and facilitate development of local communities, where NIS operates. For eight consecutive years the Company has been successfully delivering and supporting socially responsible projects in 11 cities and municipalities: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Čаčаk, Pančevo, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Novi Bеčеј, Žitištе, Kanjižа and Srbobran.
