NIS and Serbian Orthodox Church signed the agreement on cooperation

His Holiness, Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and NIS CEO Kirill Kravchenko have signed the Protocol on long-term cooperation on humanitarian projects within the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC). Upon the Protocol, that was signed in Serbian Patriarchate, NIS is obliged to give to the SPC part of the territory of oil refinery Rafinerija Pančevo where the Vojlovica Orthodox Monastery from the 14th century is located. By cooperating with the SPC, NIS strives to preserve Orthodox churches and monasteries in Serbia of huge cultural and historical relevance, and according to Kravchenko, the Protocol relies on the long-standing cooperation between the SPC and NIS.
