NIS and the Road Traffic Safety Agency for the second consecutive year are organizing “Week of traffic safety” The event is going to be held at the Business Centre of NIS in Novi Sad from 26 September to 1 October. In front of the NIS's buildings are set trainers and simulators where citizens participating in the campaign can test their knowledge in the field of traffic safety and improve driving skills. The lectures are devoted to the general principles of traffic safety, special categories of participants such as children, cyclists and disabled people. There will be held a lecture dedicated to the rules in the transport of cargo in the oil industry. As a final activity of “Week of traffic safety” on Saturday, October 1, at NIS training ground in Zrenjanin will be held traditional competition of professional drivers of NIS entitled “Driving Challenge 5”. The event in Novi Sad is being implemented in the year that is declared by NIS the Year of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) in the Company, which is one more confirmation that care about health and safety are among the strategic priorities of NIS. In addition to the “Week of traffic safety" NIS and the Road Traffic Safety Agency this year based on a cooperation protocol are implementing umbrella campaign called “We care about you”, aimed to increase the safety of all participants in road traffic.
