NIS at Prestigious HR Conference

Nataša Stamenković, NIS HR director took part in a panel discussion entitled “Trade Union”, which scrutinised the relations between trade unions and employers This particular panel discussion looked into the importance of trade unions’ good rapport with employers leading to any company’s sucessful operation. Nataša Stamenković elaborated on NIS good HR practice, where any problems or contentious issues are settled in a social dialogue resulting in quality collective agreements applied in both parent NIS and its daughters. NIS collective agreements merge Collective Agreements traditions and the most contemporar HR practice. Specifically, grading system, performance management, competence evaluation and system of incentives being part and parcel of NIS Collective Agreement which distinguishes it from typical Collective Agreements in other companies. Other than NIS, the panel discussion deliberating trade unions’ and employers’s relations heard interventions from represenatatives of companies such as „Telecom Serbia“, „Elektromreža Srbije“, „DDOR Novi Sad“, „Air Serbia“, „Atlantic Group“, as well as the represenatative of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia. Serbia’s top 20 HR directors attended “HRM Congress Serbia 2018”, as well 200+ professionals of the trade, who shared their experiences in panel discussions and talks seeking solutions to issues concerning human resources management.
