NIS at Serbian Economic Summit

The two-day Serbian Economic Summit which has gathered economic and political elite of Serbia and the region, was also attended by NIS representative, Mr. Srdjan Bosnjakovic, Deputy CEO and Director of Strategy and Investment Function. The gathering was held around the main topics “Healing the Wounds – Marching to Growth”, and participants were Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ivica Dacic, Minister of Finance, Mr. Lazar Krstic, Minister of Energy, Mr. Aleksandar Antic and Labor, Minister of Employment and Social Policy, Minister without portfolio, in charge of European Integrations, Ms. Jadranka Joksimovic, as well as numerous ambassadors, renowned businesspersons and representatives of successful companies. Serbian Economic Summit, which has been organized for the 14th consecutive year, is one of the most prominent economic events in the country. On that occasion, participants of the Forum have analyzed the economic situation in Serbia, considered development and investment possibilities and exchanged their experiences. NIS representative, At a panel discussion, Mr. Srdjan Bosnjakovic presented to the participants the restructuring process of state owned enterprises on the example of NIS, demonstrating results of the Company's operation before and after arrival of the major NIS shareholder, the Russian petroleum company “GazpromNeft”. In his presentation, Mr. Bosnjakovic underscored the most significant results of NIS operation since 2009, and above all, modernization of Oil Refinery Pancevo, which is nowadays, one of the most modern plants of this kind in Southeastern Europe.
