This year’s Kapetan Miša Anastasijević Award went to Sergei Fominykh, NIS’s Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs, for the Company’s outstanding accomplishments in legislation. Sergei Fominykh was awarded as a distinguished manager and expert at NIS who has contributed to the Company's notable business results. Winners of the awards for commercial and social contributions are the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia Alexander Chepurin for fostering the development of commerce and close relations between the countries, the director and actor Dragan Bjelogrlić for the best film and television project, Montevideo, Vidimo se (See you in Montevideo), the prima donna of the Belgrade National Theatre Dragana Del Monako for the promotion of musical culture and creativity, the academician Dušan Otašević for the promotion of Serbian arts and culture, and Vice-president of Delta Holding Marija Desivojević Cvetković for strategic planning and development. This is the fourteenth year that the Kapetan Miša Anastasijević Award has been presented as part of the Towards the Top project aimed at promoting social creativity and entrepreneurship in Serbia. Nominations are sent in by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, local governments, associations of journalists and non-governmental organisations, whereas the jury, consisting of university professors, evaluated professionalism, market position, social responsibility, and the moral and ethical values of the nominees. Among the previous winners are the most prominent economic, cultural and political figures in Serbia. The official awarding ceremony in the Belgrade University Rector's Office was attended by numerous notable figures.
