NIS Continues to Support Nišvil the International Jazz Festival

For the fourth year running, NIS supports Nišvil, the 29th International Jazz Festival, held from 16th to 20th of August in Niš, and gathering the most famous jazz artists from around the globe. The most important jazz festival in the Balkans gathered the leading international and national jazz bands and artists such as Brand New Heavies, Jon Cownerd Mercy Project, Jean-Luc Ponty, authors of the Academy Award winner The Artist, and many more. During the four-day programme, the audience had the opportunity to listen to fantastic acts at several locations in several cities simultaneously. Nišvile hosted over 80 concerts, over 400 artists, and besides Niš, jazz concerts were held in Vranje, Leskovac, Pirot and Surčin. With the goal of greater participation in the development of local communities in Serbia and contribute to cultural development, NIS supported this event of national importance, as a part of its "Culture without Limits" corporate programme.
