In the traditionally organized event under the name “Businessmen and companies who marked the year” in the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia NIS has been elected today the best company of the year. The Chairwoman of the Assembly of Serbia Slavica Djukic Dejanovic presented a representative of NIS Yevgeny Kudinov, Deputy General Manager of NIS and Director of the Function for External and Government Relations, with this esteemed award. The jury of the Club of Business Journalists consisting of 15 renowned journalists unanimously elected NIS the best company taking into consideration exceptional business results achieved by NIS in 2011 in spite of the economic crisis and an unfavorable business environment in the domestic market. Annual awards were also presented at the celebration in the following categories: the businessman, the business decision, the business bank of the year was elected, and also the best managers in 2011. The event in the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia was attended also by the Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic, the Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management Dusan Petrovic, as well as by renowned businessmen and prominent cultural figures.
