95 companies from Serbia, which are the largest contractors of NIS, attended the event in the NIS Business Center in Novi Sad Compliance with the high standards of the safety at work for all employees and all the business partners, as well as a sustainable management of the environment represent a strategic orientation of NIS. Thus, the Company implements the highest standards within the field of HSE, striving towards the zero risk for the employees, contractors and the third parties. Besides fostering of open and partner relationships, a specific attention is paid by NIS to contractors’ management from the aspect of HSE, through implementation of the prescribed procedures based on good global practice. Within the framework of the Forum, two round tables were held discussing the topics related to increase of competencies and motivation of contractors and subcontractors in NIS. This was the opportunity for the NIS representatives and the contractors from various branches of the industry – from mechanical and installation works to civil construction industry and traffic, to present the results and the new ideas for improvement of the safety culture through open dialog of experience exchange. Within the framework of the Forum, two round tables were held discussing the topics related to increase of competencies and motivation of contractors and subcontractors in NIS The event’s participants’ attention was drawn by the exhibition of personal protective equipment which presented contemporary equipment of providers from Serbia and Russia and which is intended for safe work.
