For the fifth time running, our Company is the general sponsor of FEST, to be held from February 28 to March 9 in Belgrade. At this year’s international film festival, under the slogan “Not everything is black or white”, 76 films will premiere in a number of programme categories. At today’s press conference in Belgrade City Hall, it has been announced that the film to open the festival will be Boban Skerlić’s “So Hot Was the Cannon”, a Serbian film in the “FEST Presents” programme category. The “Russia in Focus” programme will feature “Me Too, a film by the recently deceased Alexei Balabanov, “Stalingrad” by Fedor Bondarchuk, and “Metro, a disaster film by Anton Megerdichev. “For the fifth time in a row, NIS has supported this international film festival as part of its corporate policy of social responsibility ’Culture Without Borders’,“ Sanja Lubardić, Director of the External Communications Department in the Public Relations and Communication Function, said in a statement. Ms Lubardić pointed out in addition that NIS considers FEST to be important, and that through this support it contributes to the quality of cultural and art production, champions the preservation of cultural legacy, and encourages fresh ideas and initiatives.
