By getting the award today, NIS became the first company to win the supreme champion title twice in 23 years that the award has been given The Oscar for Quality Award is given by the Foundation for Culture Quality and Excellence, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia. The national business excellence award is given to profit and non-profit organisations as an independent and non-partisan award for top results achieved in improving and developing quality in Serbia. To select the winner of this prestigious award, a jury of experts evaluated organisations’ results in as many as nine fields: leadership, strategy, human resources, partnership and resources, processes, products and services, results in users, results in human resources, results in the society and business results. The Oscar for Quality Awards are given as part of the World Quality Day and European Quality Week. By getting the award today, NIS became the first company to win the supreme champion title twice in 23 years that the award has been given, reaffirming its position as one of the most successful companies not only in Serbia but in this part of Europe, too.
