With the help of NIS the new basketball playground has been opened today in Novi Sad in the settlement called Detelinara. The sports playground has been built on the territory of LC "Jugovićevo" according to the citizens' requirements. Thus the preconditions have been made for more successful development of recreational sports among the citizens, primarily children and youths. Promotion of team spirit, healthy life, driving energy and fair play has been built-in in the Company's business principles as well, and sports have always been an opportunity to spread such an idea in public, too. This project has been implemented within the corporate programme called "Cooperation for the Purpose of Development" and last-year agreement on cooperation with the town of Novi Sad, whose aim is that NIS participates in the local community development as much as possible.
