NIS Open Tennis School for Children at Davis Cup

March 8, 2015

Four years in a row, Tennis Association of Serbia together with NIS has been organising this „NIS Open Tennis School“ throughout Serbia. The idea is put into practice as part of NIS corporate programme the “Power of Sports“ aimed at supporting children’s sports, promotion of halthy life style, as well as to the professional athletics and youth development. Davis Cup is a great opportunity for kids to see Serbia’s best tennis players live in the pitch befor their own eyes, and after the matches end to try themselves and make basic moves in tennis within NIS Open School. This school of tennis seeks to motivate children from their earliest age to go in for sports and, more importantly, develop sportsmanship and halthy life style. NIS has been sponsoring the Tennis Association of Serbia for six years now, thus supporting development and promotion of this particular sport in Serbia. „It is pivotal to cater to children since they are toddlers to instil genuine values in them and teach them to play fair. To make this happen a reliable partner, like NIS, is required. We are glad that a major company has recognised how important it is to invest in the young, Tennis and athletics in general, so we hope to see more of them coming on board in the future." – says Toplica Spasojević, chairman of the board in the Tennis Association of Serbia.
