NIS and the Serbian Tennis Association organized today in Novi Sad the "NIS Open Tennis School," which rounded up this year's season of free tennis school for the youngest ones in Serbia. The central square hosted the youngest residents where they had an opportunity to learn the first tennis steps with the help of tennis professional coaches. NIS and the Serbian Tennis Association organized during August, September and October 2013, a joint action - the Open Tennis School, for the little ones from Serbia in eight cities starting from Cacak, then Nis, Kragujevac, Novi Becej, Zrenjanin, Kikinda and finally Belgrade, Pancevo, and Novi Sad. The free tennis school for children has been held for the second year in a row, as a part of the NIS corporate program – the Energy of Sport, aimed at supporting child sport, promote a healthy lifestyles, but also to foster and properly support the professional sport and youngsters’ development. This year's campaign was supported by the members of the Davis Cup team who, while preparing for the semi-final match against Canada, participated in the promotion of the school in Belgrade, in September. The Tennis School was the floor were hundreds of children throughout Serbia had an opportunity to hold the racket in hand for the first time as well as to familiarize with this captivating game that has been increasingly gaining popularity in the world. This action of the Serbian Tennis Association which will show results in the future, has made a remarkable promotion of this white sport demonstrating that it will continue to invest in the young generations thus preserving Serbia's place among the tennis elite.
