At the largest regional Internet festival “Web fest.Me 2012”, the company NIS was presented with the special award in the area of Internet improvement. The Web Fest organisers emphasised the NIS’s commitment to developing corporate web services at the prize-giving ceremony in “Atelje 212” theatre. During the previous three and a half years, NIS has been introducing new technologies in every business activity, including the development of web resources. A new corporate website completely redesigned and adjusted to consumer and public needs, has been launched. NIS website offers complete and diversified information, not only on the company's business activities, but also on the oil and gas industry in whole. Furthermore, the website offers an online application form for donations and sponsorships, and has a major segment dedicated to youth programmes. The website includes a special segment dedicated to investors, offering professional insight into NIS business activities; also, a new consumer website has been launched as a part of its NIS Petrol retail brand development campaign. NIS has an active two-way communication with the public via social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The fifth annual Web fest.Me 2012 announced the best websites and projects in the region in the following categories - culture, blog, education, fashion, e-trade, visual design, sports, Facebook application, entertainment and forum; as well as the Audience and Jury Grand Prix.
