NIS support to the project for employment of young people without parental care

May 26, 2017

Marija Dimitrijevic, senior recruiter NIS, within the Workshop held in Career centre - Strong youth in Belgrade, spoke to the young people on how to improve the CV, how to improve personal presentation and how to effectively present themselves during interviews with employers. The workshop participants were very interested in getting as much information as possible about this issue, as well as feedback on how their CV looks to employers and how to adapt it to specific companies that recruit workers. Such attitude of young people and their desire for success and a better quality of life are additional motive for NIS to continue to support this project and young people in their efforts to achieve their goals. Workshop to simulate the interview was held within the project “Strong youth – support for employment” aimed to encourage social inclusion and economic empowerment of young people without parental care, to support them in the process of gaining independence after leaving foster care, the competent institution or living in socially vulnerable family. The program should include 300 young people from Belgrade. Foundation SOS Children's Villages Serbia, as a member of the International Organization of SOS Children's Villages, since 2004 is helping children in Serbia through the work of SOS Children's Village Kraljevo and other programs.
