As a long-standing partner of the Film Festival, for six years in a row, NIS has been supporting the Festival as a part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Program "Culture Without Borders" intended to contribute to the quality of cultural and artistic production, preservation of cultural heritage, encouraging the young talents, new ideas and fresh initiatives. This year's FEST, held under the slogan 'Here we are! In the Constellation of Winners', grew from an international film revue into a contest. The Main Competition Program line-up included a total of 15 movies from Russia, England, Hungary, Turkey, Italy, Jordan, Greece, France, Germany, Croatian, Georgia, Chile. This year’s Best Movie Award, Beogradski pobednik (Belgrade Victor) winner in the Main Competition Program category is “Theeb“ (Wolf), directed by Naji Abu Nowar. Special recognitions for outstanding and exceptional contribution to the world of film art were awarded at the Festival as well, and the prize was awarded to one of the greatest Russian Directors, Mr. Alexander Sokurov. 43rd FEST was officially closed on Sunday, 8 March with the screening of the Russian film "Battalion".
