The event “Mamutfest” which took place from 6th to 8th September was traditionally sponsored by NIS again this year. The objective of this children’s event is to promote cultural and natural heritage in the form of entertainment, educational and attractive program. NIS support to this year's festival which took place in Kikinda the seventh year in a row, was implemented within the Public Competition announced under the title “Community Joined Efforts” in the cities and municipalities where the Company operates. Public competitions are the part of the corporate social responsibility program “Cooperation for Development” which aims at strengthening partnerships with the regions in which NIS operates, local authorities and the population. NIS, as a socially responsible company, tries to preserve the tradition and cultural and natural heritage, and recognized the importance of this event, being aware of the fact that success is measured not only by good business results, but also by the responsibility towards the community in which it operates.
