By planting first trunks, the urban forest “Exit Good Tree” was formed within „State of Exit“ zone at the Exit Festival. This campaign was supported by NIS within its support to Exit Festival. All the interested visitors had the opportunity to donate their personalized trunk that will be planted in the area of the urban forest and will wait for them when they revisit the festival. Each tree will have a plaque with its donor’s name, because thus citizens are facilitated to participate in their creation and preservation. The project will continue after the festival, and this campaign can be joined by city administrations, public institutions and enterprises, educational institutes, associations, entrepreneurs, companies and individuals. “Good Tree” project has for its aim creation of new environmental culture, in order to promote the idea of bringing greenery in Serbian cities, and at the same time to offer efficient models for addressing environmental issues. Apart from the campaign “Exit Good Tree”, NIS has also supported the “GO Group” organization’s workshop where best European festivals presented possibilities of sustainable development and environmentally friendly approach.
