This year again, for the fifth time in a row, NIS is the general sponsor of FEST. “ALL BLACK AND WHITE? NOT REALLY!” is the motto of the 42nd international cinema galore. As part of its corporate social responsibility programme dubbed “Culture without Boundaries”, NIS supports FEST with a view to lend its name to exceptional artistic achievement and national and international cultural events. Over the course of the Festival, between 28th February and 10th March, NIS runs a video competition “FILM NISpired” on the Instagram social network, intended to give a creative impetus to all cinema lovers. The centerpiece of the competition is a remake scene from a famous film. All Instagram social network members are welcome to take part, who can apply by uploading a video clip into their Instagram profile and subsequently adding the #nispiracija hash tag. Competitors are to become NIS followers at Instagram (http://instagram.com/nis_gazpromneft), record and upload their videos remaking scenes from a famous film, which should not be longer than 14 seconds, with its title containing #nispiracija,@nis_gazpromneft and video clip name. Expert jury will name the best author, who will subsequently be granted by NIS a three-day trip for two to the international film festival “Karlovy Vary”. As part of the promotion for NISpired by Film contest, a flash mob was organised at the FEST 2014 opening. Namely, the attendees were surprised by a group of dancers staging an interesting musical event in the style of the acclaimed film classic Grease. Six young dancers and acrobats performed a mass dance to the original music and choreography, eliciting an enthusiastic response from the audience.
