The National Theatre in Niš organized the first Monologue Festival with the support of NIS. The drama monologues addressed the topic "Woman as a Constant Inspiration in Serbian and Russian Literature". More than 30 actors and actresses from all over the country graced the stage during the two nights at the theatre. The festival also had a non-competitive and a charity character, and all the money from the tickets was donated to “Bora Stanković Theatre” from Vranje, which had recently been burnt down in a fire. The festival took place on 7th and 8th of December 2012.
