NIS' page on Facebook social media network was set up in 2010 and has recorded a significant increase in its fan base every year since. In the previous year, the number of fans soared by about 75 per cent and NIS' page currently counts around 157,000 followers. The last year was marked by a constant growth of all interaction parameters, new columns, numerous competitions, prize draws and activations. In addition, a renowned portal Social Bakers, for months in a row, has declared NIS' Facebook page as the fastest growing page among all national companies. "Even if one does not see the title of the page, it is immediately understood that it belongs to NIS. From the profile photo to the cover and contents available on this page, everything is dressed in the recognizable brand colours. The content is original, tailored for Facebook, leaving a good impression. The visual material and distributed information extend beyond the frames of petroleum industry and can awaken interest even of those not specifically interested in this field. One can find there games and applications which are entertaining to the fans, but also can bring them some reward. Updated, original, well-organized, giving a clear message as to which direction a company of this size should take in communications via social media networks" - explained PC Press.
