NIS’s experts in the field of human resources have, through the HR workshop, acquainted the students of the University of Belgrade with modern strategies in finding a job and key aspects of corporate communications. The workshop consisted of two parts. In the first part, the students had an opportunity to hear concrete advice related to the preparation of curriculum vitae, as well as practical guidance for a job interview. The second part of the workshop was devoted to the topics of personal effectiveness and business communications. Young experts of NIS, employed through the recruitment procedure NIS chance, addressed the students, and through presentation of their first work experience, they gave a series of pieces of advice on the topic of employment and first business steps. The workshops were held within the scope of the TEMPUS project SIPUS, in which NIS participates as a partner from the industry. TEMPUS is a program of the European Union supporting the reform and modernization of education in the partner countries, while SIPUS is one of the projects focused on strengthening the international policies at the universities in Serbia. As a project partner, NIS takes part in the project through the organization of practical workshops, aimed at pointing out key competencies which would allow students to adequately respond to contemporary labour market challenges. Last year NIS also organized a seminar for students of the University of Novi Sad, which consisted of lectures in human resources, workshops and case studies.
