Program “NIS Chance 2013“ started

As a part of its social responsibility business concept, NIS initiated its program “NIS CHANCE 2013” today offering the chance to high school and university graduates without professional experience to get employed by the Company. The Company conducts the program “NIS CHANCE 2013” in cooperation with local government authorities and the chance for employment in NIS will be given to around 300 high school and/or university graduates. After nine, and/or twelve months the best of those will be offered permanent employment. All interested candidates holding university degrees may apply for "NIS CHANCE 2013" program by Friday, 1 March 2013, by submitting their applications at the corporate web site nis.eu or through the national employment portal «Infostud» (www.infostud.com). Candidates holding vocational high school degrees may apply with the National Employment Service. High school and university graduates will have the opportunity to get employed in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Subotica. They should hold four-year degrees of the following faculties: Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Philosophy, Natural Sciences, Technology, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Mining and Geology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty for Environmental Protection, Faculty for Mechanical Engineering. Advantage will be given to candidates with average mark above 8.5 during studies. Candidates holding vocational high school degrees of the following educational profiles: mechanical technician, construction millwright, locksmith, arc welder, canter, welder, milling machine operator, mechanic, chemical technician and electrician will have the opportunity to work in Zrenjanin, Subotica, Kikinda, Turija and Trešnjevac. Advantage will be given to candidates with better results during studies. More details on the program “NIS Chance 2013” are available at the corporate web page nis.eu Additional Info: For the fourth year in a row NIS conducts the employment program for youth in cooperation with local government authorities and the National Employment Service. To date, more than 400 young people have been offered the opportunity to work and professionally advance. This year NIS plans to employ around 700 young people in two phases by the end of the year. The first phase started in February while the second will start in autumn. Last year, NIS was awarded as the Best Employer by the Serbian Manager Association, and 25% of students voted NIS as the best place for starting a professional career.
