Being the one of the biggest energy companies in the region using new technologies and innovations in all business areas, NIS sponsored the Science Festival within the corporate programme "Energy of Knowledge" by promoting development of science and education in the social community and simultaneously supporting the young and talented pupils, students and scientists. - Within in the Eighth Science Festival, NIS also took an active part in the educational and interactive exhibition "Soil's Gift to the Country: Invisible World of Oil" with the oil formation as its subject matter, during which visitors will be able to participate in the related workshops and experiments per different subjects. This year also the exhibition will be organized in cooperation with the Geological and Hydrometeorological School "Milutin Milanković", Ms Sanja Lubardić, the Director of NIS Department for External Communications. In the course of the Science Festival, NIS will organize an Instagram Photo Contest "Be Creative, and Everything is Possible". In order to participate in the contest, visitors will have to take photos of wells using NIS protective equipment. Then the contest participants should follow NIS page on Instagram (@nis_gazpromneft), and put hashtags #everything is possible and #nis together with their photos. NIS Selection Committee will choose three most creative photos whose owners will win appropriate awards. The photo contest results will be announced at NIS page on Facebook when the Festival ends. In addition, on Monday, 1st December, NIS will share free tickets on its page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/NaftnaIndustrijaSrbije. NIS fans will be asked a question related to the slogan of this-year's Festival, and those who give the most creative answers will be rewarded two tickets for the greatest regional event involved in promoting science and education. The initiator, founder and organizer of the Science Festival is the Artistic Production Group "The Night of Museums", established in Belgrade in 2004. The Science Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science, Secretariat for Education and Children's Protection of the City of Belgrade, Rectorate of the University of Belgrade, numerous foreign embassies, cultural centres, etc.
